Mockingbirds / Relaxeder Set With CD

This summer Phil Hale had two one man shows at Jerwood Space Gallery in London. This new two book set of art not only complements these exhibitions but also consolidates Phil's move in the direction of the fine arts.

MOCKINGBIRDS is a tightly focused series of recent oil paintings, while RELAXEDER is a looser play of drawings and photographs.

Print run is 1,900 copies. Note: GOAD, which is approaching out of print status, had a print run of 5,000.

Also available is a CD of music composed by Phil Hale and arranged and produced by Jon Wygens. Performed by the band GOLDEN PHONE in which both Phil and Jon are both members. The paintings were largely painted to the music, which also provides a frame or context for the work to be read through.

While we are making the CD available separately, retail customers can opt to have the CD bound with the sets for a savings of $7.00. Phil Hale's original intention was that his CD be bound in and included in his new two book set and we are making this option available at a special savings for our customers.
