Stephen King
The recipient of the 2003 National Book Foundation Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters, Stephen King has authored more than forty books, all of them worldwide bestsellers. He lives in Bangor, Maine, with his wife, novelist Tabitha King.
Donald Grant has published Christine, Desperation, The Gunslinger, The Drawing of the Three, The Waste Lands, Wizard and Glass, The Wind Through the Keyhole, Wolves of the Calla, Song of Susannah, and The Dark Tower as well as The Talisman and Black House (co-authored by Stephen King and Peter Straub).
When they call the roll of the great figures of modern American literature; Bellow, Miller, Morrison, Updike, Roth; they can now add a name: Stephen King.
